The engineering foundation checkpoint.

16 October 2026 · Engineering checkpoint, later included in the 18 October website release.

What changed in the source

PR #6 records dependency remediation, a committed lockfile, deterministic container builds, automated engineering checks, safer request parsing, canonical-origin metadata and keyboard navigation corrections.

The unused email provider was removed. The contact API remains closed for delivery, and the public contact path uses direct email links.

This was a source checkpoint on 16 October. The reviewed foundation reached the live website through the 18 October release. The test counts below belong to the earlier checkpoint.

What was checked

The c5d2500 checkpoint records 48 passing unit tests and 39 passing production integration tests, including keyboard, metadata, CSP, contact/privacy and request-contract checks. A successful Engineering workflow run also covers the container smoke test. These are bounded test results, not a claim of complete security.

What remains uncertain

A legacy Cloudflare Workers GitHub integration check was failing at this checkpoint; Vercel is the current website host. At that time, production still served the earlier main baseline. The later release does not resolve provider and domain verification, future ingress controls, or the legacy Workers integration.

Why keep a record?

A passing build alone cannot show whether an issue was fixed. A useful record connects a root cause to an affected file, a specific regression, its result and the remaining risk.
